PTAY Support Groups & Events

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed in May in the United States since 1949, reaching millions of people in the United States through the media, local events, and screenings. Mental Health Awareness Month began in the United States in 1949 by the Mental Health America organization.

Throughout the month of May, PIN will be hosting a series of events aimed at raising awareness of children’s mental health. Please see below for our Calendar of Events and additional information about each individual event, along with information about mental health awareness and the symbolism behind the green ribbon.

To view the full calendar of events, please visit our May Is Mental Health Awareness Month tab.

PIN understands the difficulties families are experiencing amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. We are committed to continuing support to our parents. We will also be hosting remote support groups via video chats. Dates, times, and links will be posted on this page and the area News & Events pages as they become available, so please check back often.
